Transitions –
This bright blue and yellow quilt has a lot happening.
The circles change diagonally from light yellow to bright orange
while the background blues moved from dark to light in the other direction.
As the circles get brighter, they also get smaller.
The interpretation of this quilt varies from person to person. One said “Look at the floating balloons” another “Wow, the moon is morphing into the sun” and yet another comment was “I keep seeing new patterns.”
Swirling hand quilted stitching connect all the circles.
