And A Train Runs Through It -- also known as Under The Sea
This bright, vibrant quilt suggests some of the mysteries that may or may not exist under the sea -- the train, of course, but also the round house with a very short door, the fish that can swim forwards and backwards, an elegant embroidered octopus, sea fans and giant clams, air bubbles (or are those sand dollars?) and a giant lavender hued turtle.
Colorful hand embroidered details enhance the images.
The background hand quilting is inspired by an Escher print with overall interlocking flying fish.
